Under Associated Extensions, I have one system where I left the VOICE MAIL set to NONE and on another where I set it to our voice mail extension (27xx). However, I can not see where either system operates any differently. What exactly does the VOICE MAIL setting under Associated Extensions do?

On the Executive sets with the additional softkeys, there is a key to send calls to voice mail. It doesn't work if the voice mail application isn't defined.
