7200 V4.71, Calls are cutting off every 30 seconds, on every call, Wireshark Trace showing the PBX constantly sending a 200 mesage to the newtwork, then a 483 as the network wont accept.

Trace from the network shows that there trying to reply to the private IP of the PBX.

My trace shows that we are sending the Public IP in the message header.....PBX is set to Public with Private.

Something is stripping the Pubic IP before it gets to the network.

No firewalls only Technicolor TG582n router connected which was supplied by the SIP provider.

Now the OAS is set to private. Why you ask? We only get one way speech when set to public with private, for some reason setting to private resolves this issue.

If i set the OAS to Pulic with private and make a call, although no speech i still get disconnected after 30 seconds.

30000-30031 ports are configured to route to the OAS, We have also opened the 40000 400127 for MPS if needed.

I have added the SIP server and Media address of the Network provider in the management list..Still not resolved.

Any ideas? Change router??

When the OAS is set to PUBLIC WITH PRIVATE, this is the log from the router....We get no speech in this enviroment.

FIREWALL rule (1 of 2314) : Protocol: UDP Src ip: 88.215.61.202 Src port: 23506 Dst ip: 81.23.45.78 Dst port: 30000 Stateful Rule Action: accept

When the OAS is set to Private this is the log from the router...We do get speech in the below enviroment...

Apr 6 18:22:11 FIREWALL rule (1 of 2311) : Protocol: UDP Src ip: 88.215.61.202 Src port: 23892 Dst ip: 192.168.7.202 Dst port: 30004 Stateful Rule Action: accept

The difference in the two logs seems to be the Destination IP?

I have changed the Destination IP in the top log for obvious reasons.

Your right- I did originally disable via telnet, but recieved one way speech so i re-enabled, now i'm thinking i should of then set the systems OAS to public with private and then tested the connection.

Do you think SIP ALG being enabled is stripping the public IP to the network, or just affecting the speech when set to public with private?

I've seen sip alg cause speech issues.
Set everything to private with public, and disable sip alg on the router. Also you didn't list the rtg ports, don't forget Guo forward them to.

Hi Mate, managed to log in to customer site and telnet in to router, SIP ALG now disabled OAS set to Public with Private and hey Presto! All seems to be good! Thanks for the HEADS UP!

RTG port? what range do they start at, only ever opened MGI and MPS ports.

The constant 200 messages may be due to the SIP Carrier sending confirmation for two Codecs. The Samsung only acknowledges one and therefore they continue to send a request.

This is resolved with 4.75 software ... see Product Bulletin 256 SW 4.75. You can go into DM 5.2.13 and turn on "Use First Codec.

Worth a shot.
