I am installing a KX-TA824 in a home. They have asked for a button which would silence ringing on all phones. I am thinking a night service button that directs calls to an night service group consisting of one member extension that either does not exist or has ringing disabled. Is there a more elegant way to do this?

Does not need to ring anywhere.
Make a Night service where the lines ring no where.
Put a Night button on all phones. Call it Silence or No Ring, whatever. Push 1 button on any phone. What could be more ELEGANT?

Audrey Hepburn in a ball gown and a tool belt would be pretty darned elegant. But this is a close second!
