Need some help on DS, or DP key settings for an extension.
I have an extension 2040 and another 2050 (two separate lines for two separate managers) I have setup a DP-2040 Key on hand-set of 2050. When someone calls 2040, the assigned DP Key light "blinks" on phone 2050 as it should.
Can I also make 2050 "ring" when a call comes in for 2040, without putting the two of them in a group?
The logic here is, a receptionist at 2050 will answer calls for both extensions. 2050 is her main line and 2040 is his main line, and I wanted to setup 2050, with 2040 blinking, so when a call comes in, she knows how to "answer" the call.
Now it just blinks, and if she is away from desk, or filing or something, she doesn't hear, 2040 calls ring on the 2050 handset.
Did I make that clear, or mess up my mind as well?

The key you're looking for is cc.

Thanks "SamsungTech", will try this now, and report.
"nameless", i put CC - 2040 in the Station Key settings, but the light just blinks, as it does with DP, but does not ring the phone.
Gonna try the "station pair" now
Thanks guys.

This works fine for me (OS7200 MP20 4.75, SMT handsets) It may take a ring or 2 for the ring to come through.
What system/version/handsets are you running?
