I installed a KX-TA824 with 3 T7731 phones and 3 TD7896 wireless phones. Easy install but one problem. The wireless phones cannot intercom any other sets, analog or wireless. I can intercom TO any of he wireless phones.

Try looking at a couple of things: In 2.3 page 1, make sure that the Outgoing preference is set to NO LINE. In 3.3 make sure you only have the active line checked, and last, try plugging in a display set to the port(s). You may have some funky pickup dial enabled (code 7429#) and 7410/#, but you'd have to work very hard as it's an SLT only feature. Dialing 7400 will turn it off.

2.3 and 3.3 check out. I have been dialing from function keys set up as DSS buttons. When I go off hook on a cordless am I in intercom mode if 2.3 is set to no line?

As Far As I Know, that's the case. Again, you can check it with a system phone.
