We have just added 16 new extensions. I was wondering how do I program the attendant console buttons to be able to ring those extensions. I've tried the "program keys" option, but it says that key is not programmable. Any ideas ?

Is this a piece of software on your computer or a DSS box next to a phone? If it's a DSS next to a phone, sometimes you can dial 397 then the button you want to program. If it states the button is not programmable, you'll need to program it with DB Studio. There it would be under System > Station Related Info > Key assignments > Dss Let us know if that helps, if not let us know what version your using and which product you have (and number of buttons.)
