What are the odds that a reboot will lose programming on tis XTS system? I am having an issue with one line, and wanted to do a reboot, just was a little leery, because sometimes hard wired batteries on systems go bad, and power cycle can lose programming.

There is a very good chance that you could lose programming since those memory retention batteries do go bad. Why not just use the reset button on the MPB and do a warm restart?

I do not recall how to do that, it has been over a decade since I touched one of these.

I am not sure how to respond to that but I will try. The mpb card located in slot 9 with yellow tabs has a small reset button on its right side...just hold it in count to ten and let go...system will reset.
