Nothing worked. I got a confirmation tone on everything I did. Forgot to post that when I'm on the phone after about 1 minute the sys hold button flashes and IC call waiting is flashing on the display. The power was only off for about 1 hr. 30 minutes. Shouldn't there be a battery backup so I don't have to go through this everytime the power goes off? I guess I'll have to call someone to come out & look at the phones. I have the service manual but I don't understand alot of it. Thanks for your help.

The battery is probably 20+ years old, unless you had someone replace it recently. Those batteries just dont last that long.

You say you have the manual, do the system initialize first, then reprogram. If that doesnt work save yourself a headache and call in a tech.

Carla jo,

Yes you should not have to keep reprogramming your system after each power failure.

The GLX has been around for a while, which tells
me your battery in your server (key service unit ) is toast.

Bite the bullet, and call a trained telecom person
whom is familiar with the INTERTEL product line
to replace your existing battery in your system smile
