I was able to enable the Maid in Room code, and that works great. However the issue now is how can I set those open vacant rooms to occupied once they are rented out?
I can see maid in room and room clean but as per the occupied room I cant find anything.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!

Are you trying to set this at the console using the Guest Room key? Does your system have the Hotel/Motel option or the PMS option?

It's important to know what you have in place. If you have PMS, the PMS sets the room status. If you don't have PMS you must have Hotel/Motel as one of the options in programming sheet 4.

I don't have PMS, I only have the super console. I was able to enable the maid in room section and now it shows up when the maid is in room and all rooms that are clean but I can't change it to room occupied.
Any clue?

Do you have Room Status enabled in the System Options and Class of Service?
