Team,

About a month ago, our MicroCall system (v2.8) stopped logging calls from our Axxess 8.1 system's OPC Card's RS-232 Interface.

All cables seem to to be connected securely and working. However, Both the ShowCall and MicroCall status window are not updating any counters for Inbound/Outbound Calls off network.

My Question is:

1. What settings can I verify on the Switch (assuming they are under the Reporting Programming Object in DB Studio) should I make sure are flagged/checked to capture inbound/Outbound calls made to our PRI Trunk.

If it's any consequence, our MicroCall file is show as 95% full, if this could be the root cause?

Any help hints would be very great!

Thanks -

Dave

Check System/Maintenance/SMDR in programming to verify your port. Double click on the port to verify the settings. Look at MicroCall to see if the com port is set properly like the baud rate.

If that checks out, you could take the cable off MicoCall and put it on another PC running Hyperterminal with the correct baud rate that you verified in programming, and verify the Axxess is putting out the SMDR info.

Resolution: Bad CAT-5 run from our OPC card to the COM port on the MicroTel Box. DOH!
