Service call today, line shorted at the rj31x, no big deal. But i noticed the 2 slot, carrier had no processor just 2 modules. Did not know a system would work without a processor ?? Can someone educate me on this? Tried to change time and date at x11, error tone. Thanks Gary s

If it was a partner then one module was the processor . I assume it was a ACS which is a processor with CO and station ports built in. With the ext 11 error it may have been a partner I know there was limited programing on them in a two slot carrier

There once was a partner 206 that was also a processor I think it was release 3 or 4. Or an acs as Skip said . The older ones bracket had 2 connectors the same length. The acs brcket has one long and one short connector So if you change to an ACs you will need a new 2 slot bracket or 5 slot cabinet. the old partner Im not so sure you could program from 10 and 11

I found an old book and there was no 10/11 programming until the partner plus. you can only program on x10 if its not an ACS.

Sounds like a Baby Partner, a 206 mod (NOT an 206E or EC) in slot 1? The 206 was the first Partner and was a processor. Apparently yours is later than R1 since R1 didn't support display phones. But if memory serves if you have the date and time #101, 102 and 103 should be there. Are you sure extension 11 is really extension 11? Try 10.

Thanks guys. The system is not a ACS. The first card is a 2x6 r4,the second card is a 2x6 r2. The 18 B lcd i tried to prog time and date did show it as ext 11. Was in a hurry did not look for ext 10.
Thanks again Gary S.
