I should have mentioned SIP in my initial post, my apologies.

I think all of the extensions share a common LCR. I am going to try nameless's suggestion to append a # in my LCR, I think its MMC713 in the phones/ITTool. I only have two entries in 713. I have my area code (813) and 9.

Adding the # in my LCR tables got rid of the outbound delay.

As it turns out the fire system is failing because it is trying to sending a fax signal over that line. I need to see if I can set that one analog port to transmit more like a fax machine. So back to the searching.

It used to work until I replaced some cards on my firewall. The new cards must be too fast for running fax communication through the officeserv. Nothing has changed in the officeserv configuration, or the firewall config other than new cards. Like I said, thats a different topic, and back to the searching.

Thank you all for your help. I am a bit green, so thank you for your patience with me.

This may be a shot in the dark, but look into T38 codec online. It is what is used for fax over sip. That may help in answering your question on the search.

I've seen alarms fail due to dialling to quickly for the service (customer changed from a straight PRI to a PRI Over SIP)

I had to change the LCR to wait for the whole dialled number before passing it onto the PRI service.

Good luck getting it working over SIP
