Has anybody installed a 7400 with Centrex trunks?
I have a customer who currently has Centrex from the local Telco. They would like have a PBX at the main location but the OPX circuits would exceed Samsung's specs (3280ft). After doing a test, while we can connect to an analog phone the volume is low. The distance we need to go is 7500 to 9000ft.
So is it possible to program the 7400 so that if it receives a call destined for one of these remote stations it can hook/flash the CO switch to re-route the call?

Check with TELCO to see if trunk to trunk conference is available on the lines. That would help the low volume problem.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

The 7400 works great behind Centrex. You have dial blocks that can do the transfer to the remote site with a problem. Very easy to set up.

It is with the OPX lines connected to the Samsung analog ports that have the low volume.
Each Centrex station has in essence their own DID so if someone dials their 7 digit # it would ring directly to them. If a call comes to the main number that would be answered by the 7400 I could use a dial block to flash the CO and transfer.
This all assumes that the Telco supports Centrex on a PRI.
