I have installed 2 summits with about 13 users each. The install went well. I cannot make since of the Auto Attendant documentation and procedures. The voicemail Is not in a specific area in the manual and seems to be all over the place. I really need help setting up AA, recording AA greetings and setting up AA answer. Does any one have a cheat sheet to help in this or any suggestions. I am sorry if this is a stupid question. I really appreciate any direction and suggestions.
Thank you Sincerely Billy B Be Nice

I have no cheat sheets, put here's a few pointers: To set up the AA and where options should go, go to program 228 (TABLES-->CCR TABLE). Enter the CCR table you wish to program, and you'll be able to see how things are routed. To record a greeting, go to the attendant phone and press PGM 06. Then type in the greeting you wish to record. Actually, I do have a cheat sheet for this: https://ournewphone.com/index.php/l...emg-80-auto-attendant-greeting-recordingTo set up AA answer, go to PGM 144 (CO LINE DATA-->CO/IP RING ASSIGNMENT). Select "VSF" and put in the announcement number, which is the same as the CCR number.

Ok I will try that What do you dial for the company directory? Example. Thanks for calling ABC Company. If you know your parties extension you may dial it now. For our company directory press ? To reach our operator press 0.
My first voice mail scenario 6 phones ring incoming lines 4 times. Then the auto AA should answer the call using similar to the above greeting. Then if there is no action the caller should go to operators mail box. I assume when you build the mailbox the name you input goes in the company directory.
I appreciate the help. I am sure once I get the basic steps it will be easier.
Thanks billy b Be nice!

You assign a digit for the Company Directory in the CCR TABLE. Yes, you have to assign the name (First & Last) for each mailbox using STATION VM ATTRIBUTES. The users can also assign/change their name via the web portal: https://ournewphone.com/index.php/lg-emg-80-training/86-change-your-company-directory-nameThe Company Directory will not work if a user has not recorded their spoken name. If you want incoming calls to ring to extensions before going to the AA, then you'll need to utilize CO/IP PRESET FWD ATTR.

I was successful in setting up the mail boxes and the AA. I still need to be able to direct voice mail transfer and voice mails to email. I will work on that tomorrow. You help was greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to help me. Your web site was also very helpful. This system seems to be very user friendly once you understand the terminology. I am an old Nortel Tech and have not touched a Vodavi in years. I really appreciated the help. Thank you again Billy b Be Nice

1. where is the timer set for how many rings or seconds the phones will ring before the AA answers?
2. When checking voice mails is there any way to have the number from CLID show up along with the time and date stamp? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Sincerely, Billy b Be Nice!

Sincerely, Billy b Be Nice! It depends on how it is ringing...multiple phones ringing on an initial call and them going to the auto attendant. The timer is set in pgm 174 co preset fwd timer to iclid ring assignment plus the AA ring time. The two added together determines the total number of rings or amount of time before the AA picks up to be more precise. An individual station (call ringing on one phone) the timer is found in the station timers pgm 123. The system no answer table is in table 180 maybe..just use the admin program. Remember the shortest timer governs the call.
