Hello to all, when we make calls we have to dial 6 first to get an outside line and then we dial the number. I believe there is a way to make the phone system call 911 with out the need to dial 6-911....where would I configure that option?

When I go to System Data = Outgoing Calls system Options I have the option that says "dial 911 Routing without trunk access" set to "trunk access code not required" but when I call 911 it still does not work. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Look at your numbering plan under 9. Looks like the programming for 6 as trunk access key was put there precisely to stop 911 calling.

Thanks for the reply, what I found is ODD...under 11:09 "Trunk Access Codes" I see under 01 "trunk access code" = 9....that is odd since we use 6 and not 9 as the prefix to get an outside line..

what do you have for 6 in 11-01 it could point to an f-route

also look at 21-01-12

yes under 6 in 11-01 it says f-route...i guess that explains the 6 prefix...right?

21-01-12 is setup as no trunk access code required ..

problem is that simply dialing 911 does not work.,we have to dial 6 911..we want to be able to dial just 911 (6-911) should still work though

Go into your numbering plan and set the digit 9 for trunk access.
