Is there a way to remove the REC soft key from the display on the Impact SCS phones (8324SJ-FB, etc.)? There is no where I can find that this can be adjusted in the VMMI software programming. We have a way to disable it from working, but need to get it off of the display when a call is in progress.
Please help!!!

How are you disabling it? Stopping SOHVA?

We REM'ed out the record feature lines in comdial.lnk, but believe that changing the service observe code on the phone system would disable it as well. The goal is to entirely remove the REC option from the soft key display.

Don't remember if that is possible. Turning off SOHVA in COS would result in feature not available when REC is pushed if I remember correctly.

That is what I am running into as well. Seems to be a feature inherent to the serial integration with the voice mail, like it is embedding in the FXII code. If you think of something let me know, and if we figure it out will let you know. Thanks!
