I was doing some prep work on a Install at the customer site just programming everything up .Had to change my numbering plan from 100's to 200's got the voice mail working programmed all the cap keys PRI everything seemed to be fine then I wanted to go upstairs and start programming from the customer's network so I plugged in the cable from there old Aspire system and put in the correct IP Address
Once I got connected to the system upstairs I notice that not all but most of the programming was defaulted I don't think I have ever seen the default on an NEC system before I did have to power the system down at one point to mount it on the wall it was probably off for about 30 minuets or so the only programming that stayed was the PRI Programming and when I went to program 47-01-17 I could put a 2 digit port number in there I originally had 57 which worked fine but could not put any number in there except for a 3 digit number
Any thoughts

You didn't back up the Aspire database? You didn't have the new system pre-programmed before you got on site? Well if you get the DID numbers and what ext or numbers they went to that is most of the battle I suppose. I suppose the system could be default? Check the button maps? Are you cutting tonight?

Did you make program changes and forget to apply? I've done it.

Have you saved the programming file before on site? If yes, find it and upload it.
