I am needing to change out a DX-80 with A33 software to a different cabinet with F42 do to the weird call handling it doing. I think it needs the power supply updates.
Is there a good method to move the data. It does not seem like I can pull it off the A33 and then just upload it to the F42 without doing some sort of data conversion.

If I remember correctly, you can use the F42 PCDBA to download the database, which will also convert it. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, or confirm if I'm right.

Curious---what kind of "weird call handling" is the system doing?

Actually I just uploaded it from the A33 and the F42 converted it. They were getting buzzing and drop calls, intercom calls reaching wrong stations and exts with static and ect. I was told that the power supply was going.

You're doing it the right way - on many systems running A33 you wouldn't be able to just throw F42 chips on the CPM anyway - better to get a proper cabinet with the software already on it.

The main Board needs to be a certain revision to
use the F42 Chips... however I don't think their available
from vertical anymore. The last rev was F44 and had a fix
for Daylight savings time... and I don't believe you can
get those anymore.
Some settings dont convert from A33 however the f42
program will tell you which ones don't transfer.
If you see F39 it's a defective release ...upgraded
prolly a hundred of them
