Anyone have a suggestion for a long range analog cordless phone?

We are currently using EnGenius DuraFon and its range through our building is lacking. Looking for a powerful unit that will reach farther than the DuraFon's

Thanks,

EnGenius tends to be the "go to" brand. Would using aux antennas be doable?

I don't know of anything better than EnGenius. Are you using multiple bases? Mounting multiple bases close together causes the signal to drop.

We do have 2 bases at this site using the Aux antennas. I would assume that you can put the bases on different channels to assist with that issue. I will look into this..

Thanks!

The other option is a decent Dect system with multiple repeaters or base stations. Here in OZ they used to be sold by a company called Kirk but Polycom have taken them over so you will probably find it on the net as Polycom.

Just did a quick search and they may now also be called Spectralink.
