This place made a loud ringer that you could hook a strobe lite on to it, maybe this is what your looking for. I have never used the strobe lite part but the loud ringer and PA amp only.

Wheelock makes an AC powered strobe that is extremely bright and only uses the ring current for a trigger.
It is model# PS-11A-WPW
The following link will provide you with a description:

It will have to be connected to an analog port on your KSU.

There is a company called DEES Telecom that makes a bunch of devices to interface with Nortel equipment. I think that they are located in Canada but their items are readily available through most US wholesale supply houses (Sprint North Supply, Graybar, Anixter, etc.). I guess they specialize in gadgets unique to Nortel items due to their presumed Canadian presence. Their stuff looks to be pretty high-quality although I have never used their products. You might want to check for them on the Internet; I know they had some pretty interesting contraptions for this kind of application, along with many others, but I haven't checked them out lately.

How come there's always enough time to go back and fix it a second time?
