I ran the 11.7 update. The system went through all the steps and rebooted, but showed the update had not been applied. I ran it again. This time the system locked up and never finsihed all the steps. Now, I can PUTTY into the VM server, but the phone system cannot contact the Voicemail system, and the Web Manager interface cannot reach the VM server.

What version is the SV8100?
What was the version of the UM8000 prior to upgrade?

Sv8100 was updated to 9.5 on Friday. UM8000 had the 11.6 update.

Check your licensing and your IP address that is set in 10-XX for that card.

Did you use the command line method or the web console?
Have you contacted NTAC?

Thanks for the helpful guide. I hope I don't have to go there. I originially ran the update from the web console. Today, I ran both the 11.6 and the 11.7 updates from a USB stick from the command line on the UM8000 itself. I now have voicemail back online.
The new behavior is the Web Admin Console. When going to the 10.0.*.***/admin in a web browser the page immediately goes to https://10.0.*.***/update/doUpdate.html. Initialize, Extract, and Execute are green checked, while Cleanup and Finish are "Not Started". Going to this address from another computer yields a "Server is being updated" message. Meanwhile, nothing is happening on the server and voicemail is functioning as it should at this point.
How do I get the Web Console to realize the update is over and to go back to normal?

Make sure the time on that card matches the system and the system is right.
