Hi there,

Thinking about using a number of redundant Inter-Tel handsets for a SIP deployment using Asterisk, when the company moves into another telephone system.

The current handsets (S8660's, etc) are deployed in an IPRC based IP environment. Can these be converted to use SIP instead, and will it work with Asterisk?

Thanks

8660's cannot use SIP. Only the 8620/8622's and the 8662's can use SIP. I have used these handsets w/ our Asterisk server and they work great.
