What do I need to do to check the USB option as my connection for programming? Presently I can only select ethernet or modem, the usb box option is shown, but cannot be selected.

Do you have a USB cable insertd into the KSU ?
What version of System Admin ? What version on KSU ?

I would think its the program not seeing the USB port on your PC . I would start by deleting the program and re installing it . if it continues take a look at your usb ports
I just opened mine and it defaults to USB and allows me to move back and forth without being connected to anything

I had trouble with r3 admin and took it out and put it back in
and its fine.

That was why i ask what version of System Admin he was trying.
When downloading Version 3.36/37 you have another file to download for your USB Drivers.
Yes i tried version 3.34 and you can check the USB mode on Connect set up just fine Skip.
He may need USB drivers if useing Sys Admin ver 36 or 37.
or may be in his Port assigment on his computer set up
Yes try removing other sys. admin. versions off your computer
first if you are trying either ver. 36 or 37.
As sys. Admin. ver. 36 or 37 downloads different than previous versions.

I have been trying other version and 1.21 is the only 1 that works. I am going to try to upgrade and see what happends, I hope I don't lose the 1.21....thanks for all the help.
