I am trying to create a busy/no answer call forward to an external number. Once activating call forwarding on the PDN and PhDN both completes the process of forwarding to cell. However, if the call is not answered within a certain time frame, the call returns to the PhDN. Listed below are the actions performed for the procedure and switch information. CTX 670 5.20 MT61.
1. Created ECF-B/NA button= External Call Forwarding Busy no Answer 2. Programmed ECF-B/NA button= #9867>press ECF-b/na >select PDN and PhDN>entered CF# (xx91xxx-xxx-xxxx)#08(ring timer)#>pressed ECF-B/NA button [Data Programmed} 3. Activated EFC by pressing button.
Other information Extension have 1 PDN and 2 PhDN Hunt Group exist PhDNs have ownership of PDN DKT setting Call Progress Dependency is set to Line Mode and tested the above with it set to terminal mode.
Is ringing the PhDN after time lapse a normal operation and if so why is not happening on the PDN?
Thanks
SH

I believe it is following the system transfer recall timer. If the timer is less than the cell phone voice mail pick up it will recall back. You can try and increase the transfer recall in system timers. If not it may be following the forward NA timer.
