I have a few sites that are always calling because their time is slow. It usually takes a couple months and it is usually between 10-15 minutes slow. These are Avaya Definity Guestworks systems this particular site is running R9 I once heard about a clock battery but not sure if this is the fix or not.

I got my ass reamed by AT&T corporate in the early 90's for going on a trouble ticket on a early Partner with a system slow clock , I had told the customer your buying a phone system not a clock

Mitels clocks stay up to date why can't these Avaya Guestworks systems do the same? is it a bad processor or possibly the age of the system?
