SV8100: Is there anything anyone's found, maybe using SV8100 DIM

- Does anyone know of a way to monitor a single IP phone's data traffic? - I will also be setting up WShark but this account has so much data traffic from the IP port.... whatever.

I'll also open an SO with NTAC, but I"m really trying to find a way to determine whether a remote IP phone is "seeing" or even receiving a reliable "heatbeat" - The phone I'm focusing on is in the remote router DMZ, works fine for a while, good ping rate...

I guess my question is more, what is everyone else using for the sporadic IP phone issues - looking through 1000's of WS lines, in a very busy IP phone account, is making me a bit crazy, especially without exact times.

The remote phone is in Florida, I'm in Nashville TN.

Anyone know of a "doc" on NTAC that might assist in these kinds of issues?

Don't know if this will work in your situation, but try setting the phone as "remote" within the phone config. This will somewhat ignore the irregular heartbeat.

Packet latency is most likely the cause. Without end to end QOS, it's near impossible to predict or prevent this from happening.
