Hello -
A school has a Panasonic TDA-100 system, which they use for administrative purposes. For intercom, they have a DUKANE StarCall system. The StarCall is connected to the TDA-100 via an extension, and when users dial a line access code, they get access to the TDA-100 through the extension.
When admin places calls on hold, staff must go to a Panasonic phone to connect to their call, since there are no line keys on the StarCall phones.
Is there some sort of pickup code that can be used to connect to calls on hold so the StarCall can be used for that purpose?
Thank you,
Matteo

Use call Park auto. Press Park button, display shows orbit number. May have to upgrade SW for Auto Park. Need V2 To use Make Park-Auto button on keysets. On call Press Park key display shows 2 digit park zone, line shows busy so only intended can pickup if using Line keys. To Retrieve; *52 XX (XX = Park Zone)
For line pickup Or Intercom *53 XXX (XXX = line number) Line is on regular hold on all phones until pickup.

Brokeda has the concept. There are 3 ways to hold and retrieve a call on a TDA system. The easiest, extension user presses HOLD and instructs the person to pick up a held line (*53 xxx). Second easiest, is pick up an extension (*52 ext). The worst IMO is to park a call, and instruct the user to pick up a parked call. It requires a PARK button or a separate sequence (Transfer *52* and read the display, or Transfer *52 and a 2 digit number), Then tell the user to "Pick Up a Call" and they would dial *52 xx where xx was the zone you used.
