Been MANY years since I've tied 2 dissimilar PBXs together so my memory and skills on the methods are dull
Anyone have suggestions on how best to make intercom calls and call xfers between sites painless? Since I know the Mitel (and not the Panasonic) I would assume I would use a T1 card and define channels as E&M. I wonder if its possible to use ARS to add digits so the users wouldn't have to dial trunk access code before dialing extension number in other system? Have no idea how to setup T1 card on other end (Pana). NOTE: Both systems will be in same server room so a point-to-point cable/method makes sense to me.
Your thoughts Mitel gurus?
