A high school whose phone system I service has a wall phone in their gym. The phone has been taking a beating from volley balls and stuff. Is there an enclosure that can be placed over it to protect it. The phone in question is an NEC Aspire 22 button. I've looked around but I'm shooting blanks so far.

Check Graybar .... At the worst you could get one of the Emergency type boxes that we have used to put pool phones in. That may be overkill but it would work or perhaps they have some indoor enclosure as well.

If you can use an analogue set in some manner, I have a phone with enclosure. Practically new $75, plus shipping.

Was bought for the same purpose, then they cancelled the order.

Get someone in the metal shop classes to make a cage for it...for extra credit, of course.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

Well, this is an all girls high school so I'm guessing they don't have a metal shop:)
Gaitronics may be onto something but I'm starting to think I may have to get creative for it to be both functional and not an eyesore. This gym is a new build and looks to matter here.

Find a local sheet metal shop (like the places that HVAC guys go to for custom duct work) and have them fab you up something.
