Hello everyone, first post here...
I have to do some short-notice work soon on what is either a 1428 or 2856 installation - the site has yet to confirm the exact model of the two. Main thing is it looks like the on-board battery or supercap is dead, as the unit loses its config whenever the power dies. UPS has been keeping it alive for several years, but the UPS battery went out, and - you know the rest.
For the life of me I cannot find any information on what the specs of the supercap or battery is. I've looked all through the Vodavi install & operations manuals for these two systems, and NOTHING.
Does anybody know the part numbers or tech specs for 1428 supercap, or 2856 NiCD battery?
Need to order/find these parts ASAP before the end of the week - please save my butt!

If I remember right it's 3.5V. Now, I personally wouldn't touch it unless I had a spare 1428 or a 2856 CPU card. They're old enough now that they have a bit of a tendency to die if you power down, pull them out and replace the battery. We have (had, don't do it anymore) a bit of experience on this one.
