in one of our SV8300 pbxs, any digital tel lifts the handset the screen shows " Operator " instead of the self tel number.
and this happensfor ALL Digital telephone in the pbx.
no previous programming was done as far as I know.
how could that occur?

On the IPS they brought in command 15210 which I believe restricted display of my line on dterms but I have never tried it, so I don't know what would be displayed if you used it.

Cmd 15210 control the display of my line on idle state..."on hook" and this not my problem...the problem is when you hang off that is you lift the handset ,immediately "operator" is displayed on the screen instead of my line...and what ever number is dialed "operator" is displayed on both calling and called digital telephones..!!!!

Check CMD 15071. 0 = attendant position for DTerms. It should be set to 1 for all non attendant DTerms.

This almost sounds like operator was programmed in as the name for every phone. Have you checked CMD 770?

I have never run across this issue. Whenever I run into an unusual issue I go back to basics. There are quite a few entries in CMD 08 that can be flagged that have no definition. I have fixed some unusual issues by going through CMD 08 with an open CMD manual and check to see if anything not defined in the manual is set to 1 (default).
