Got a new one. I've got a customer who has an old MICS setup. On a few of the trunks, when selected, you hear a few seconds of silence, then a 'thlunk', like a big rock being dropped in deep water, then you get dialtone. They don't mind the sound, but the lines just take a while to get dialtone. Could this be a bad line board?

If you can, try exchanging a working line with a "thunking" line. If the problem moves then has to be the provider. If it stays then look at the card.
