I have a IPK phone system with a vmp voicemail. The voicemail card was replaced. A few people did not check their voicemail messages before the voicemail card was replaced and now the feature key and the message lights keep blinking. Tried the feature 99 and tried leaving a new message on the ext. and the lights still will not go out. Any suggestions?

Try setting up a VM message cancel code, item 502 in MB 1-1-47. Then dial it from the phone.

In 1-1-47 I tried putting 61 as 502 and 62 as 503. But when Id dial either 61 or 62 I get an error. The revision of the IPK is 1.03.

It may not be set by the VM. Do you have a DSS/BLF console? If so, see if the console left the message.

A voicemail card was replaced. I have several exts. that did not have their messages cleared before the card was replaced.

Take a look in the VM Administration system settings. There is usually an option to reset message lights.
