I have a G450 Gateway with 2 PS4504 power supplies, one of them has a red LED next to the plug in the back and one is green. Is that normal? As in green: active, red: standby, or green: good, red: bad.

Since they are hot swappable, I'll go with Green active Red standby. Only a slightly educated guess though. With out taking chances, What's life anyway? Unplug the green one what's the worse that can happen? System goes down ooooooooooops? John 807

The power supply with the "Red" led indicates that it has failed or does not have power supplied to it. Before replacing the power supply. check the power cord and the outlet that it is plugged into.
