Happy New Year All,

Question on a MICS, 6.1 software, CP 150. Doctors office, has 6 analog lines, all ringing into 4 phones at reception. Customer has few doctor mailboxes. No auto attendat, they would like to forward lines after hours to a mailbox. Programmed ext 301 to mailbox with call forward feature (to be done manually). Works well for first caller, second caller, just rings no answer. Also they share this system with another doctor office, had to disable General delivery. Any thought on how this may work, to have all after hours calls go to one mail box. Thanks

I would assign a mailbox 301 to ext 301 and make sure all lines for this office ring to that phone. At night, do a Ftr 984 on that phone.

Does the CP150 have 4 ports wired up properly. Can 8 people log into voicemail at a time?

Do you mean people press 7 from mailbox? (External Transfer) or do you Forward ext 301 (Call Forward - Feature 4).

Sorry,

Mailbox is 301, assigned to extension 301

Reception has extension 301,302,303,304. All sets have 7 lines appear and ring. At lunch or evening, customer will press feature 984 to forward to it`s mailbox. I was hoping that all calls that ring in now will go to 301 mailbox and not ring. I have added 4 intercom keys today to see if that will make a difference. Is there an issue with forwarding that many trucnk lines as they ring in?

When you say customer do you mean Reception or any given person?
If 303 forwards their set then all calls go to 303's mailbox, if no mailbox it would default to General Delivery.

Sounds like they would be better off with Night Mode going to AA so the caller has a choice of choosing somebody unless they dont want that by design.
