I have a customer with a PRI and DID numbers. At the moment, when a user receives a call on a direct line it rings on the intercom button. There are some users who are members of a ring group assigned to a direct number as well as having their own direct number. How can I program a separate button for each incoming call? Ideally, I would like to have the ring group calls have a different ring tone, and if possible the direct calls to that extension as well so intercom calls from inside are also easily recognized.

Ring your DID calls to a group intercom. Apply whichever ring pattern you want for that specific DID.

So I'm here again..
I programmed the DID translation table with the group intercom number in "Default Extension" and the user's primary intercom number in "Voice Mail ID", but now calls to the DID aren't going to voice mail. Any suggestions?

Do not put the primary intercom in the voice mail field. That is for redirect to an unexpected box and over rides Trans.XXX. Is the set programmed to go to voice mail?

Yes, when I put the primary intercom number into the "Default Extension" field in the DID translation table the DID calls go to the correct mailbox.
