I am attempting to install a CD-PRTA card in an existing SV8100. This system does not have the ME50 installed in it so it's limited to 64 ports but based on my math I don't believe I am going over that limit. The system has 12 CD-COT, 8 CD-LCA, 8 IP Trunks for CCIS, and a 4 port licensed Inmail.

When the system reads the card it assigned the port to 001-023 which duplicates the existing trunk ports in use. When I attempt to add the card in PCPro it registers as 021-044 but then doesn't allow the change to be uploaded to the system.

Any ideas?

Are you using the analog trunk cards? If not pull the blade or blades, go into programming via phone and delete, after the CPU writes slot the PRT blade.

Sorry, I couldn't get your idea clearly.
It looks the system has 20 trunks, and 8 Analogue port. so when you put another PRI card, it's not over the 64 ports limitation, and the PRI card should start from 21 to 52, why 001-023? that is an odd number.

16 ports for voice mail comes off the 64 count if licensed or not. In other words if you are licensed for 4 ports the remaining 12 ports are still counted toward the 64 system ports. With that in mind adding the PRI blade brings the count up to 68 ports. If you don't need it pull the CD-COT blades and delete them.
Or if the customer is not using all 24 channels on the PRI set up as fractional.

OK - So do to the inmail ports it looks like I am over by 4. I'll have too look at removing the CO card to get the port count to allow the card.
