Howdy,
I seem to be able to program them through the phone's menu or DM but how does one get to them past button 10? Esp when the phone is in use to transfer a call for example?

If it's anything like the 5243, push the AOM soft button and start scrollin'

The extra 99 are only available on the SCME or when using SDM on your phone or tablet.
