I believe the Partner ACS is the only version that allows programming to be saved.

Definitely not. The ACS has the PCMCIA card which allows it - the Partner II does not.

The saving grace is outside of buttons on the phones it takes about 2 minutes to program an entire system!

just scroll through the programming and make notes as to how its set up then as John says it doesn't take long to reprogram one

Yes you can backup a Partner 11 , you will need to find a program called Partner Passageway Solution , and make sure it has the passageway modem with it , they are hard to find, look at times on EBAY
