I have an old 424 and I need to add a pdku2 card. I don't really want to shut the system down. Are the pdku2 cards hot swappable? Thanks for any response.

I have swapped cards while powered up, but it won't matter because you have to reset the system or cycle power when you assign the card to the system.

Thank you for your reply. I thought I read an old Toshiba manual that said I could but I wasn't sure. Again Thank you.

In a CIX I hot swap station cards all the time, but I have had the occasional voicemail card in the adjacent slot reboot. On a CIX I don't have to cycle power to program the card, but unfortunately on those Strata DK systems you do have to cycle power after you use program 03 to assign a card into the slot.
