I just had my IP Office 500 V2 demo unit reset to basic mode. Prior to resetting it I was able to use Manager to administer the system. Now it's unable to discover the unit and I am also unable to ping the default gateway (192.168.42.1). When I check my network connections it indicates that my LAN is unidentified networks. I have a solid green and an flashing amber leds on laptop and a solid amber and flashing green on control unit LAN port. I also tried enabling DHCP. Any advice as to what I am missing?

Did you change the IP address on your LAN connection of your laptop to see it? Set your laptop IP for 192.168.42.10, now can you see it?
Generally if you plugin to LAN2, it is set to give DHCP, so you could try that.
If that doesnt work, i would call your distributor tech support.
