I am able to dial 9 (for local), but 8 (long distance), gives me "INVALID" error on a Mitel SX-50 console. I know how to turn on the long distance for an extension, but not for the console.
Which handset (beige) would I need to order for a Mitel SX-50 9104-060-002-BT console. I found a website, but the only one they have is 9104-060-001 and 9104-060-100 which are black and 9104-060-101 and 9104-060-102 which are beige.
As always thank you for your help.

More than likely "dial 9" has been set up for ARS programming distinguished by different classes of service/restriction. You can get all manners of handsets for the console if you look within this site.

After re- reading your post, if the guest rooms dial "8" for LD, then I would check the COS for the console to see if it has access to (most likely) trunk group #2.
