Dialed into customers mail,
x10 is assigned to mailbox 1
selector codes are fine
I set up an ACS here with a flash mail ,put in 208 to 10
left 206 as not assigned and works perfectly
added 206 back in and main greeting answers no 10
calling customer tomorrow to check ringing on 10.
someone there changed programming,no one did it
So it is probably the programming "ELF"

Further to his ,the 208 works to x10 with 206 off.
It playrs the greeting but at the end instead of taking a message
it says good by and hangs up
any ideas

In mailbox 10, select option 8, call answer mode, change it to record mode, the elf changed it to answer only.

Not sure which option it is, but, one of them will change the Call Answer Mode. smile

Unless it is a release 1, where you log in with your mailbox number (01 through 04) instead of your extension number and password with no # signs between them, then log into mailbox 10, and listen for option 8, call answer mode.

That was it Tommy ,thank you for the follow up,I never sold
the rel 3 ,I always used the small voicegate for the 60 mailboxes and out dialing.
