I know this post is old, but I have a question directly related to this option: Something weird happens when I add our area code to a number. Our area code is 601. If I add 6015551212 to CLI table 1 the system always dials out our primary PRI number. If I add 015551212 it will dial out as "015551212". If I add 1212 it will dial out "1212". Everything works UNLESS I put the "6" in 601. The full 10 digits makes the system revert back to primary number. I have been battling this for over a year and cannot figure it out. Any ideas? It works the same in CLI Table 2, 3 and 4.

The number of digits you need to send via the clip tables depends on you PRI settings, specifically the Number type and Number Plan.
The country/area code setting may have a bearing on this as well, though usually this only affects incomming CLI

It worked at one time and I cannot remember when it changed. I did have 601 in the area code section of system options but removed it to test. Nothing changed
