In Custom Service Menu 1. Trying to set up so when hearing Greeting, want to push 1 and have it ring a few extensions. Can do on TDA- 50, but not sure how to do with KXTD-1232.

Probably needs to go to some sort of extension group, then if no answer, how do I get it to go to specific Mbox?

Also, can't figure out how to number an ext.group. On TDA, it is an ICD group I believe.

602 extension group assign.

106 make ext group you want to be RING.

Make a mailbox for that number.

Groups start at 290 or 291.

VM xfer will need to be supervised I believe.

Sorry, not at site. If scrolling thru programming, probably could figure out what you are saying. But in trying to re collect, don't know where 290 would fit in.

Also, supv transfer? Is that in VM programming?

Groups are 1,2,3,4,5,6,. To dial they start at 290 or 291, don't remember which.

Should work default. If does not go to vm box 290 or 291 then in VM set transfer to FX (supervised=does not hang up until answer)
FXD transfers and releases, phone system handles recall.

Actually, there are EIGHT extension groups and they use 9x numbers. 191-194 then 291-294. They are displayed in 813 and extensions are assigned in 602.

In DOS it's 3,14. 3,15. 2,1

If you need DOS tool let me know. Might be easier to visualize with it.

Default in prog 813 is 191 =Exg 1, etc...

in 602, Assign ext. 103, 104, 105, etc, to Exg 1. Ext. 101 and 102 are assigned to Exg. 2.

Yet, when I press intcm 191 or 192, it goes to ext. 103? Can't get it to ring correct ext. groups extensions.

Also, prog 106 , would I choose circular, terminate, VM, etc..?Do want all phones in group to ring at same time, then eventually go to a Mbox. Can probably figure Mbox part out.

Think I might have answered my own question. I see in an earlier thread, it says in prog 106, make ext groups: RING.

I will get on site and program RING.
