My user wants to extend their Plantronics OLI to their office doorway about 15' Has anyone ever extended one? When the lifter is engaged, a 3.5mm plug has 8.6vdc from tip to sleeve and 4.8vdc from ring to sleeve. To add to my situation, I find that the new Savi OLI aren't even as bright as the original OLI units.

FYI: Plantronics has a 15' extension cord but that's about all that they recommend
