hey, the FAN ALM red led on our CIX200 is lit. there's two fans, one in each chassis, the bottom one isn't running.
is this something that can be ordered to replace it?
thanks, -matt

Crazy - The I&M covers replacing the fan but no part number. Even on the order site for Toshiba it is not in the price book. I would imagine it is a standard 200mm fan. Best bet would be to measure and order from Amazon or the like. It must be some type of standard fan.
We never really worked with the 200 so I can't help more. Sorry. ~ Mike

ok, that might be a route to go (third-party replacement). though i don't know how comfortable i would be pulling it from the rack and opening it up to figure out the dimensions and wiring/connector on the fan. might just leave it to the dealer.
another question - the 5VHB indicator led is blinking. should that be solid? is that indicative of another issue?
thanks for your help with this. -matt

I apologize - I assumed you might have been a dealer. I work with a Toshiba dealer so I have access to the docs. I would agree that it would be best for the dealer to deal with it. Hopefully they have a hangar queen they can pull the fan from and then they can deal with Toshiba to get a new fan.
Indicators - Per the I&M and my memory (we only had our demo unit and the 200 was never a good fit for our customers) there are 4 indicators on the processor as follows...
-24V which should be illuminated green. HB which should be flashing green (indicates processor is up)
FA which should not be illuminated. Illuminated indicates a fan failure.
SM which indicates the Smart Media card is being accessed.
