Good morning y'all
Have a service call on above referenced unit whereas the background music will not cutoff when all-page through Valcom amp.

What kind of Valcom amp? Where is the background music coming from? How is it interfaced to the Valcom amp & speakers. How is the paging amp hooked up to the 612? I would think that the muting function would come from the Valcom amp....no? Have you tried calling Valcom support?

Found:
2 separate output devices, 1 for MOH and the other for background music. The "Y" connector from the Allworx 1 went directly to MOH device and other went to Aux. 2 of the Speco amp.
Verified paging circuit from Allworx through butt set all good on port 461.
Removed RCA connector from Aux.-2 and connected to corresponding
telephone input terminals, reset all levels. all good.
