Just wondering how to program the network settings for a 550-8600 (no display). It did start and work, but it is using DHCP. I am used to the 550-8662s. I usually do it from the phone (hold 7&8 on power up).
Thanks

You have to program it via the web interface. You can browse directly to the IP of the phone. It will prompt you for a username and password that we are not allowed to give in the open forums. You may be able to ask your vendor for it or whoever you bought the phone from. If you are unsure of the IP address, there are a couple of different ways you can try to determine it.
1. Look in the ARP tables and compare the IP addresses found with the MAC address of the phone in question.
2. Unplug the phone and run an IP scan on the network. Plug the phone back in and once it is up, scan the network again. Compare the results to find the IP of the phone.

Is the IP 8600 phone Gigabit? Also, does it have a port for the PC to connect?
