We are looking for a camera system that can integrate with a Epicor Eagle POS system. There will be one dedicated camera above each register, and when items are scanned at that register, it will display the items on the screen of the camera system. It then saves that order and you can go back and do a keyword search, for example: you could type in "hammer" and any sales that included a hammer would display that transaction with a copy of the video of that transaction.
I know watcher protect is one, but are there any others?

From what I can see the Epicor Eagle POS is just software so it would depend on what hardware you are running it on. You should be able to install a video card and use any video camera.

I am very familiar with Epicor Eagle and while I am aware of this feature I have not personally used it. From my understanding watcher is the best one to use for this. Basically, in Eagle you setup an IP connection between the DVR interface and the eagle server and do some mapping to tell it which camera is over which register. When the cashier scans an item the Eagle system and feeds the data from the receipt printer to the DVR and overlays it over the picture. So I know there is another company out there that does it and you have to have a special interface box to make it work. Unfortunately, I can't find the name of the other company. But you may want to call the Eagle Advice Line.

I've worked on some of the Epicor stuff in my hardware store days.
